It was built by Jimmy | ORBITFRAME, an independent front-end developer, after watching writers (including its own author) break their drafting flow to hunt for a reaction meme that fit a paragraph. The placement decision — which sentence earned a meme, and which template matches that feeling — is the tedious part, and it turns out a transparent set of rules handles the common cases well.

So MemeMyPost is deliberately honest about its method: keyword and emotion scoring over your sentences, running entirely in your browser. It does not call a large language model, it does not upload your draft, and it does not host copyrighted meme images — it names templates and writes descriptive alt text, and you supply the picture.
