Frequently asked questions
Short version: free, rule-based, in-browser, Markdown out. The longer answers are below.
Is MemeMyPost really AI?
No. It is a transparent, rule-based matcher. It scores each sentence against emotion keyword groups and suggests a well-known meme template. No large language model runs on this page.
Does my text leave my browser?
No. All processing happens locally in this page with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, stored on a server, or sent to an AI provider.
How many memes will it add?
At most one per paragraph gap and at most about six per article, so the post stays readable. You can delete any placement before publishing.
What does the Markdown output contain?
Your original text plus a meme block after the matched paragraph. Each block names the template, shows an emoji, and includes descriptive alt text with a REPLACE-WITH placeholder for your own image.
Is MemeMyPost free?
Yes. The core inserter is free with no sign-up. A Pro tier at $9 per month is planned as a teaser only — it is not on sale and there is no checkout.
Can I use the suggested memes commercially?
MemeMyPost does not host or license meme images. It only names templates descriptively. You supply your own image and are responsible for checking its rights for your use.
Can agents use MemeMyPost?
Yes, as a workflow: the For AI Agents page publishes the placement rules and a copyable instruction block. There is no live API or MCP server yet — that is roadmap, stated plainly on that page.
What browsers does it work in?
Any modern browser. The tool is plain JavaScript on a static page; there is nothing to install.
